Unter Pal\u00e4ontologen ist der Ort Lebach weltweit bekannt und f\u00fcr seine Funde aus der Permzeit ber\u00fchmt. Nicht nur Lebacher Eier oder die Nadelgeh\u00f6lze \u201eLebachia speciosa, und Lebachia piniformis sondern neun weitere Fossilien sind unter Geologen und Pal\u00e4ontologen mit dem Namen Lebach verbunden.
